Man hit by bus outside Grimsby hospital

The police investigation is continuing

A man was rushed to hospital with potentially life threatening injuries after he was hit by a bus over the weekend.

Police were called at 11.50am on Saturday, July 7 after reports of a crash between a bus and a pedestrian in the drop off area outside A&E at Grimsby’s Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital.

The man was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary with potentially life threatening injuries, where he remains in a stable condition.

The bus lane was closed to allow crash investigators to work and Humberside Police is continuing its investigation into the incident.
