Man rushed to hospital after Boston crash

A man was taken to Pilgrim Hospital

A man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries on Friday morning after a crash involving a white Nissan Navara car and a pedestrian.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “It happened at around 8.45am on Sleaford Road, Boston, at the entrance to Boston West Business Park, to an RTC involving a white Nissan Navara car and a pedestrian.

“The pedestrian, a man, was taken by ambulance to hospital with serious injuries.”

Police also addressed speculation on social media that there had been a fatality. They said this was not the case and the casualty was being treated in hospital at the time of publishing.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who has dash cam footage to contact them on 101 or via email at [email protected] quoting the incident number 88 of July 27.
