Man arrested by armed police in Lincoln released

Lincolnshire Police say that the investigation continues

A man who was arrested by armed police on suspicion of making threats to kill has been released without further action, but the investigation continues.

The 27-year-old man was arrested on Thursday, August 23 when armed police swooped on the Washingborough Road Crematorium in Lincoln.

People nearby watched a number of police cars rush to the area just before 2pm.

The man who was arrested has now been released without further action, but Lincolnshire Police say that the investigation continues.
