Man launches driver’s phone in Lincoln road rage crash

Officers have launched an investigation

A driver allegedly tried to assault another before grabbing their phone and throwing it across the road after their cars collided in rush hour traffic.

Lincolnshire Police have launched an investigation into the road rage on Lincoln High Street.

A red Honda Civic and a blue Vauxhall Zafira were involved in the collision at around 5pm on August 3.

While exchanging details, the driver of the Vauxhall tried to assault the other driver and grabbed their phone before throwing it across the road and driving off.

The man was described as a white male, over six foot tall, with short cropped hair and of large build.

Anyone who witnessed the incident are being asked to call the police and quote reference 371 of August 3.
