Man punched in face at village bus stop

He was knocked unconscious

A man in his 20s was punched in the face after refusing to give a stranger money in Waddington.

The incident took place at the bus stop on the A607 Tinkers Lane Junction in Waddington at around 5am on Sunday, August 5.

After refusing to give the offender money, the victim was punched in the face which knocked him out.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “The victim is a man in his 20s, who suffered serious but not life changing injuries.

“No-one has been arrested or charged in relation to this incident.”
