Swampy Johns Showbar opening next month

An entertainment led concept
The Sangria Treasure Chest Cocktail Sharer will be one of the delights on offer at Swampy Johns Showbar.

American diner and showbar Swampy Johns will open in Lincoln next month.

As previously reported, the entertainment led concept will open in the former Status premises on Silver Street in September.

The Swampy Johns brand has been developed over the last two years and the owners believe it will be a new experience for the city.

Work has been underway at the venue on Silver Street.

Entertainment

The venue will boast live entertainment every weekend night including young band Swampy Johns Junkyard Dogs and individual live musicians, who will play on the main stage and from three live podiums around the bar.

There will also be entertainment on Friday nights from “some of the best known talent on the circuit,” the bar promises.

Swampy Johns will serve a range of American beers, bourbons and spirits, as well as its own range of flavoured gins which people can watch being infused live behind the bar.

There will also be a range of special cocktails such as a Pina Colada served inside a pineapple and Sangria served in a treasure chest.

The food offering will include burgers, pizza slices, popcorn chicken, chilli and ‘pimped fries’.
