This is when the show starts at Swampy Johns Lincoln

Yee-haw!

It’s nearly showtime at the bayou! Swampy Johns American diner and show bar in Lincoln has finally announced its opening date.

The new venue on Silver Street, in the former Status Bar and Nightclub, will be an entertainment-led concept with a Wild West theme.

It’s owned by the Original Bierkeller and will expand the Silver Street nighttime entertainment scene.

Swampy Johns announced on the evening of Tuesday, August 21:

“We’re excited to announce the we will be opening on Friday, September 14.

“We have a limited number of VIP launch weekend invitations available on a first come first serve basis.

“Please email [email protected] with which night you’d like to come and number of guests to be in with a chance of getting yours.”

The Sangria Treasure Chest Cocktail Sharer will be one of the delights on offer at Swampy Johns Showbar.

Once open, the venue will boast live entertainment every weekend night including young band Swampy Johns Junkyard Dogs and individual live musicians, who will play on the main stage and from three live podiums around the bar.

There will also be entertainment on Friday nights from “some of the best known talent on the circuit,” the bar promises.

Swampy Johns will serve a range of American beers, bourbons and spirits, as well as its own range of flavoured gins which people can watch being infused live behind the bar.

There will also be a range of special cocktails such as a Pina Colada served inside a pineapple and Sangria served in a treasure chest.

The food offering will include burgers, pizza slices, popcorn chicken, chilli and ‘pimped fries’.
