Armed beanie burglar threatens shop staff

Fortunately nobody was hurt

A man allegedly entered a Cleethorpes shop with a bladed weapon last night and threatened staff before fleeing the scene.

Humberside Police are looking for a man in connection with the attempted robbery at a shop on Grimsby Road, which happened at around 9.30pm on Tuesday, September 11.

The man ran out without taking anything and nobody was hurt, Humberside Police said.

The suspect was riding a bike. He is described as slim, of average height with ginger stubble.

He was wearing a grey duffle coat style jacket, a black and white top, light grey tracksuit bottoms and blue/grey trainers.

He was also wearing a scarf over his face and a beanie hat.

Meanwhile, Lincolnshire Police have yet to find the flip flops flasher in Horncastle.
