A man in his 40s was seriously injured after an aggravated burglary in a Lincoln village over the weekend.
The incident happened at the Plough pub on High Street in Swinderby at 7am on Sunday, September 16 when a man who lives at the property was assaulted and he remains in hospital.
It is believed to have been an isolated incident, police said.
Police are particularly interested in speaking with the driver of a dark coloured 4×4 vehicle that was seen to pass the pub at the time of the incident and drove past three men.
Anyone with information or who witnessed the incident, or anything suspicious in the area between 6.50am and 7am on Sunday, should contact police on 101 or via email at [email protected] quoting incident 111 of September 16.
