Police sergeant to face misconduct hearing

Said to have breached four standards

A Lincolnshire Police sergeant faces a gross misconduct hearing next week due to alleged inappropriate use of police systems.

It is alleged that Police Sergeant Stuart Mumby-Croft, who is currently based at Grantham, breached four standards of professional behaviour between March 21, 2018 and July 1, 2018 where he used Lincolnshire Police systems for inappropriate purposes.

The standards of professional behaviour he is believed to have breached are honesty and integrity, confidentiality, orders and instructions and discreditable conduct.

The hearing will be held at Lincolnshire Police Headquarters on Deepdale Lane in Nettleham on September 28.

The identity of victims/witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
