CCTV appeal over shop burglary

£700 taken from the till

Police are looking for the people pictured above in relation to a distraction burglary at a shop in Lincoln.

It happened on Friday, September 21, when two women and one man entered together the Golden Leaf Supermarket on Portland Street.

A few minutes later another woman entered the store separately, but was believed to be part of the same group.

Between them, members of the group asked staff to help find items.

This is a tactic to distract the shop keeper to leave the till unattended.

While one member of the group talked to the shop attendant in a bind spot in the supermarket, another female went behind the front counter and stole £700 in cash.

Anyone with information should call Lincolnshire Police on 101, quoting incident 222 of September 21.
