Grand Tour filmed at Cadwell Park ahead of Lincoln weekend

Lincolnshire will feature heavily in the final episode of the third series

Jeremy Clarkson drove a classic Ford Cortina on the circuit at Cadwell Park near Louth on Thursday.

The Grand Tour crew was filming at the race track on October 25 for the final episode of series three of the Amazon show.

Local firm Tyres2Drive supported the on-track camera crews at Cadwell on Thursday. They posted a set of pictured from the track but removed them on Friday morning.

Clarkson and his co-presenters are in Lincoln this weekend to continue filming. The main star reportedly stayed at the White Hart Hotel in the Bailgate last night.

That’s just a few steps away from Lincoln Cathedral, where crowds who were picked for audience tickets will film inside the iconic building from 1.30pm on Friday.

They are set to sing a tribute hymn for the classic sedan before heading to the Lincolnshire Showground on Saturday morning from 10am.

There they will see a large gathering of classic Ford owners who will convoy through to the city centre up to Lincoln Cathedral for a final tribute to the original sedan from 12pm to 3pm.

The third series of Grand Tour will stream on Amazon Prime Video starting later this year.
