Free parking will be on offer at City of Lincoln Council run car parks on selected dates in and around Lincoln this Christmas, including this evening (November 29).
On selected dates throughout November and December, PayByPhone app users will benefit from free parking at City of Lincoln Council run car parks.
Users need to create a valid parking session on the app so city’s car park attendants can see who has qualified for free parking.
It is PayByPhone at all city council car parks except for Lincoln Central, which is also free on the dates and times below, but there’s no need to use PayByPhone there, people can just park and go.
Anyone deciding to pay for their parking using an onsite Pay and Display machine will need to pay the normal rate.

Thursday, December 6 (4pm to 9.30pm)
Thursday, December 13 (4pm to 9.30pm)
Thursday, December 20 (4pm to 9.30pm)

Leaders of upper-tier councils in Lincolnshire are enthusiastically promoting the Greater Lincolnshire devolution deal, claiming that it will bring increased investment and better opportunities across the region.
Lincolnshire County Council, North Lincolnshire Council, and North East Lincolnshire Council have all officially approved the deal, which is estimated to bring an additional £50 million per year to the region. The deal has now progressed to an eight-week consultation phase, inviting feedback from communities across the region.
