Further arrests after Chapel St Leonards brawl

They have been released under investigation

Police have now made two further arrests as they continue to investigate a fight outside the Bell Bank flats in Chapel St Leonards in the early hours of Thursday morning.

As previously reported, police were called to the incident on Trunch Lane at 2.31am on Thursday, November 1.

Two men, both in their 30s, were injured and taken to hospital via air ambulance and one of these men sustained a serious injury.

Officers initially arrested three men aged 23, 31 and 32 who were all in police custody. Two further men, aged 25 and 34, have now also been arrested.

Lincolnshire Police have now released an update on the investigation and a spokesperson said: “As part of this investigation, we have now arrested five men aged 23, 31, 32, 25 and 34, on suspicion of GBH and all have been released under investigation.

“We are appealing again for any witnesses to this incident, which was reported as a fight outside the Bell Bank in Trunch Lane, Chapel St Leonards at 2:31am on November 1.

“If anyone has any information, or any dash-cam footage, please get in contact.”
