New dog friendly guide to Lincoln launched

Plan the perfect day with your pooch

Visit Lincoln has launched a new dog friendly guide to Lincoln, giving pet owners advice on the best places to eat, drink and stay with their pooch.

Following the success of Lincoln Castle’s dog friendly weekends, the guide also includes information on local veterinary centres and pet shops so dog owners can be fully prepared for their stay in Lincoln.

Linda Rusling, chief executive at Visit Lincoln said: “It is great to be able to work with RSPCA Lincolnshire. Not only can we help promote their fundraising events such as the dog friendly weekends at Lincoln Castle, but we can also use their knowledge and expertise to enhance the welcome we give dog owners and share advice with tourism businesses to make the visit really enjoyable. “

Amy Clarkson, volunteer fundraiser and events coordinator for RSCPA Lincolnshire said: “We’re delighted to have teamed up with Visit Lincoln as one of their charity partners, and are extremely excited for the dog-friendly days planned here in Lincoln”.

Here are just some of the dog friendly locations listed in the Visit Lincoln guide:

  • Boultham Park
  • Hartsholme Country Park
  • Lincoln Cathedral
  • Bransby Horses
