Name released in Spalding murder probe

A man was previously arrested

Police have released the name of the man who was murdered in Spalding at the weekend.

As previously reported, Lincolnshire Police were called at 11.38am on Sunday, November 25 to a property on Neville Avenue in Spalding where the body of a 49-year-old man was found.

The victim has now been identified as Dean James of West Stockwith, Nottinghamshire, whose family has asked for privacy at this time.

Police previously arrested a 59-year-old man on suspicion of murder.

He was taken into custody, but he has since been released under investigation.
