Power restored after cut hits almost 800 Lincoln homes

It was caused by a “high voltage incident”

Around 767 properties in the LN1 area of Lincoln were affected by a power cut.

Western Power Distribution reported that the power cut happened at around 11:40am after a “high voltage incident.”

The company said that they are “working on the issue” and estimate to have power restored to properties by 1:30pm.

After about ten minutes, Western Power said that power had been restored to all of the properties.
