Staff threatened in Burton Road shop robbery

A man has been arrested

A man has been arrested after the Lincolnshire Co-op shop on Burton Road in Lincoln was robbed.

The robbery happened just after 7am on Friday, November 9.

It is believed that cash was taken and staff were threatened.

Lincolnshire Police said: “A man matching the description given to officers was seen heading towards the train station just after 8am, where he was stopped and detained on suspicion of robbery and remains in custody.

“Anyone who has any information relating to this incident is asked to call 101 quoting incident 46 of November 9.”
