Weird substance washes up on East Coast

The council is investigating

East Riding Council is investigating after a weird waxy substance washed up on the East Coast.

The yellow/white waxy substance washed up on the beaches at Bridlington, between Danes Dyke and Fraisthorpe.

The council said: “As a precaution, we are asking people and dog-walkers to stay clear of the substance while the authorities investigate and monitor the situation.

East Lindsey District Council said: “If you spot something similar whilst out on one of our beaches, please let us know on 01507 601111.”
