Arrests over handling stolen goods

Two people have been arrested over handling stolen goods after a police raid in Spalding this morning.

Police cars and vans were seen on Queens Road in Spalding during the morning of Friday, January 11.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “This was to execute a warrant on Queens Road, Spalding at 8.55am this morning.

“We have arrested a man aged 50 and a woman aged 53 on suspicion of handling stolen goods.”

A person on social media said the police presence was at St Paul’s Community Primary School & Nursery on Queens Road.

A spokesperson for St Paul’s County Primary School confirmed to Lincolnshire Reporter that the pupils are all okay and the school is open as normal.
