Cyclist airlifted to hospital after crash

There a major delays in the area while police deal with the incident

A cyclist has been airlifted to hospital after they were hit by a car in Boston.

Lincolnshire Police received reports of a crash at 7.38am on Monday, February 11 at John Adams Way in Boston.

An air ambulance attended the scene and took a person to hospital, who is believed to be the cyclist.

Officers could be seen this morning cordoning off a car and a pushbike on John Adams Way.

There are major delays in the area and motorist are being advised to avoid the area.

A police spokesperson said: “At 7.38am we received a report of a collision involving a car and a pushbike. This was on John Adams Way at the junction of the High Street.”
