Last chance to have your say on Lincoln transport issues

Lincoln’s transport infrastructure under the microscope

What would you chance or introduce to fix transport issues in Lincoln?

The closing date for the Lincoln Transport Strategy survey is Friday, March 1.

The questionnaire, which gives Lincoln residents the chance to help shape the future of travel and transport in the city has also included a programme of drop-in events.

People can still attend a final drop-in session at the Waddington Community Hub on Waddington Street on Wednesday, February 27 between 3pm and 8pm.

Councillor Richard Davies, executive member for highways, said: “People aren’t shy about telling me what’s wrong with Lincoln’s roads, so this is the perfect opportunity to share your ideas on how to make getting from Point A to Point B quicker and easier for you and others.

“During the events, we want as many people as possible to complete our questionnaire about their experiences traveling around the city and expectations for the next twenty years.

“We’ll then use this information to create a new transport strategy for Lincoln that will include a number of proposals for improving accessibility and transport now and in the future.”

For those unable to attend the event, the Lincoln Transport Strategy questionnaire can be completed online here until March 1.
