Lincolnshire musicians wanted to perform at new-look music festival

JoeFest has rebranded as Beyond The Woods

Lincolnshire music festival JoeFest has rebranded as Beyond The Woods and is now inviting musicians to put themselves forward to perform at this year’s event.

Festival Creative Director Joe Davies said: “With this change to Beyond The Woods, JoeFest has grown up.

“Each year the event gets bigger and better and the team felt that a new, professionally created identity was the right thing to do.”

Firmly rooted in Lincolnshire, but attracting visitors from as far afield as Europe, Beyond The Woods is becoming an established event in the festival calendar.

The hunt is now underway to find Lincolnshire’s most exciting new performers, and local artists can apply via the festival’s website.

Each year sees bigger and bigger names from the world of music perform to captivated crowds at Horncastle’s Stourton Estates, alongside the pick of the county’s best emerging talent.

“We’re really proud to be able to support Lincolnshire artists,” Joe added. “Some of the best performances at the festival have been by local acts, and we’re looking forward to watching someone make a name for themselves as Beyond The Woods 2019.”

Now in its 5th year, Beyond The Woods will once again take place at Horncastle’s Stourton Estates on August 9 and 10.

Known for its friendly and relaxed atmosphere, the event will expand to three stages for the first time in 2019, featuring a mix of genres.

The festival is planning to announce the line up next month.
