New tipi wedding venue vows to create tribal hideaway

Venue hire will be available from May 2019

A new tipi wedding venue has launched in a village near Lincoln.

Lincoln-based company The Tipi Tribe has teamed up with the owners of Ferry Hill Farm on Ferry Road in Fiskerton to bring a new venue for Tipi weddings and other events – Ferry Farm Tipis.

Three tipis will be permanently available for hire utilising a beautiful paddock surrounded by hedgerows. The tipis are interlinked providing a very flexible space including a dance floor, seating, bar section, chill out area and fire pit.

According to the Ferry Farm Tipis website venue hire is from May to September 2019-2020. Prices range from £4599 Monday to Thursday and £6599 at weekends. Catering is priced at £32.50 per head.

A wedding showcase event will be held on Sunday, May 19 from 11am. Anyone booking their wedding on the open day will get a free case of bubbly for their wedding.

Jon Oaten from Tipi Tribe said: “We’ve been hunting high and low for a place to call home so we can offer couples the wonders of a Tipi wedding in a great location near our amazing city. We have found the perfect festival hide away just 4 miles outside Lincoln”.

Ferry Hill Farm is also the location of award-winning micro-brewery Ferry Ales Brewery.
