Search for owners of dog hit by car

Police are trying to trace the dog’s owner

A dog believed to be a Staffi cross was found injured on the roadside near Boston after being hit by a vehicle.

The incident on the A52 Leverton was reported to police at 4.49am on Thursday, February 7.

Lincolnshire Police said: “We believe the dog’s injuries were caused after it was struck by a vehicle.

“Unfortunately the dog is not microchipped and did not have a collar.”
