Armed police rushed to an alleged attempted robbery at a fish and chip shop in Sleaford where a masked man was believed to have a gun.
Police were called to the Fish and Chip shop on Queen Street in Sleaford at around 8.45pm on Friday, February 22.
Two female assistants said that a man in dark clothing with his head covered brandished what they thought could have been a gun.
An armed response unit was sent to the scene because of the possibility of a firearm being used.
The man then fled without taking any money. Fortunately nobody was injured in the incident.
No one has yet been arrested as the investigation into the incident continues.
