Steaks are high in village Co-op theft

Police wish to speak to the pictured man

A man in his 20s allegedly stole several joints of beef and lamb during a theft at a village Co-op store.

A man in his early-to-mid 20s entered the Co-op store on Ryland Avenue in Welton carrying a black satchel type bag on February 12.

A selection of beef and lamb were then placed into the satchel. The man left the store without paying.

The man is described as a white male of slim build with short dark hair which is shorter around the sides.

He was wearing a blue jacket with a hood, blue jeans and black trainers.

Lincolnshire Police has released a CCTV image of a man the force wishes to speak with to help with the investigation.
