It’s part of a nationwide day of action targeting the fracking supply chain.
But the directors at the centre of the protest have told The Lincolnite they do not supply fracking companies.
“These people have got everything wrong,” Warren Lyon said of the protestors. “We’ve never delivered fracking equipment.
“We service the oil and gas industry and have done for the past 50 years. That’s all we do and we’re not bad people.
“I think these people would have a bigger impact if they went to the right people. They have caused us a bit of disruption but our customers are very understanding.”

John Jones, from the ‘Reclaim the Power’ group, told The Lincolnite: “This company in particular deliver a lot of stuff to a lot of fossil fuel sites.
“We’re saying that it is time for these companies to divest from fossil fuels and reinvest in renewables really.”
The protesters told reporters they could be outside S Lyon & Son’s company for the next couple of days.

Springcliffe Surgery, a branch of the larger Brant Road Surgery, currently serves a fraction of the combined 9,000 patients – providing only 20 weekly appointments compared to the main site’s 550.

South Kesteven District Council revealed this week that some 20,000 purple-lidded bins have been delivered to homes in the district, ahead of a launch of collections from February 2024.
