Woman’s bag raided in Heron Foods

Police investigating theft of cash in a Lincoln food shop have issued a CCTV appeal to find a suspect.

A customer in Heron Foods in Cornhill, Lincoln, left a handbag on the floor on January 16 at around 4.15pm.

A man went through the bag and took £100 from a purse within the bag.

The man was wearing a black coat with grey hood and black skinny jeans.

Lincolnshire Police are asking for anyone who recognises the man pictured to call them on the non-emergency 101 number.
