Got an idea worth spreading? Lincoln TEDx is looking for speakers

Returning to Lincoln in September

TEDx Brayford Pool is looking for people from Lincoln with ideas worth spreading for when it returns to the city later this year.

Speaker and performer applications are open until Friday, March 29 and the event organisers are looking for something new and surprising.

Those who make it through will get to speak at the event when it comes to the University of Lincoln on Saturday, September 14.

For the first time, the organisers will be creating their themes based on the people who apply.

A youth version of the event is also open to applications on the same website ahead of Friday, November 8.

There hasn’t been a specific building or lecture hall booked for the event just yet.

Andy Farenden, lead curator at TEDxBrayfordPool, said: “We’re over the moon to have created such an impact in the last two years.

“TEDxBrayfordPool is fast becoming the platform for sharing the best ideas from Lincoln and Lincolnshire with a global audience.

“Our hope is to build upon our successes and improve year on year based on the feedback of our audiences.”
