Two teens killed in tragic A15 crash, police confirm

Another teen remains in hospital with serious injuries

Two teenagers have died after a serious crash near RAF Scampton on Monday evening.

As previously reported, four teenagers were seriously injured after a silver Vauxhall Astra left the road at Welton Cliff at around 8pm on Monday, March 25. The road was closed until 3.45am on Tuesday, March 26.

Lincolnshire Police has since confirmed that two teens aged 14 and 17 have died.

Six young people were hurt in the crash at Welton Cliff overnight.

A further 17-year-old remains in hospital with serious injuries. Three others received minor injuries, police said.

Specially trained officers are dealing with this incident.

Lincolnshire Police want anyone who saw the silver Astra in the are of Welton, Scampton, the A15 or the A46 around the time of the incident to get in touch.

Police are also appealing for any dashcam footage. Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting incident 441 of March 25.
