Four teens seriously injured in crash near RAF Scampton

Police are appealing for witnesses

LATEST: Two young people aged 14 and 17 have sadly died following the collision overnight.


Four teenagers was seriously injured in a collision north of Lincoln overnight.

Two others also received minor injuries in the crash at Welton Cliff, near to RAF Scampton, at around 8pm on Monday, March 25.

Emergency services rushed to the area in response to reports that a silver Vauxhall Astra had left the road.

The road was closed until 3.45am on Tuesday, March 26.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “Anyone who was in the area and saw the silver Astra before the collision or saw the collision itself is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 441 of March 25.”

Further details are expected to be released later this morning.
