Forget Me Not flowers arrive for spectacular castle tribute

The display is now up at Lincoln Castle

A stunning display of flowers dedicated to loved ones by Lincolnshire people began to spring up at Lincoln Castle on Friday.

St Barnabas’ Forget Me Not Appeal is a special way to celebrate the life of someone important to you.

People can visit the display and help raise money for St Barnabas Lincoln until the end of the month – click here to dedicate for a hand-crafted iron Forget Me Not flower or to donate.

The iron Forget Me Not flowers are designed and handmade at The Old Smithy blacksmith. The iron flowers are 18cm wide and 90cm long. Any donations will help St Barnabas Hospice to support more families in Lincolnshire.

Flowers previously dedicated before March 29 were included in the display now up at the castle. The display will take place from April 6-21.

No new flowers will be added to the display which is now complete, but people can still dedicate and donate to get an iron flower to keep.

The flowers can be collected from Lincoln Castle on the last day of the display. Any not in the display can be picked up from one of St Barnabas’ sites or it can be delivered to your home.
