A 22-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Gainsborough dad Jordan O’Brien.
Jordan suffered serious injuries in an alleged assault at his mother’s house on Scampton Way at 10.43pm on Wednesday, March 27.
Kieron Walker, 22, of Larch Avenue, Auckley, Doncaster has been charged with murder after the incident.
He has also been charged with possession of knife/sharp pointed article in a public place. He will appear at Lincoln Magistrates Court on April 3.
As previously reported, Jordan, 25, died in what Lincolnshire Police is now treating as a murder investigation.
Reports say that the dad of two suffered injuries so severe that doctors had to amputate one of his legs while in critical condition.
A 21-year-old man was also previously arrested in connection with the incident before being released on police bail pending further enquiries.

A section of Lincoln High Street has been cordoned off after reports of a man stood on the ledge of High Bridge, with rescue teams on scene to remove a boat from under the bridge.
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue were called at 12.48pm on Tuesday when a passer-by saw a male on the ledge of High Bridge on Lincoln High Street.
