Cyclist airlifted to hospital after Louth crash

Drivers are being warned to avoid the area

A cyclist has been airlifted to hospital after they were hit by a car in Louth.

Drivers are being warned to avoid the area after the collision on Newmarket on Thursday, May 16.

Lincolnshire Police closed off surrounding roads from Upgate to Church Street, which will remain closed for several hours.

The cyclist was airlifted to the Hull Royal Infirmary after the crash. It’s not yet known how severe their injuries are.
