LIVES charity calendar to feature village life

A stroll to the local shops, a breath of fresh air and a friendly hello to the neighbour

A stroll to the local shops, a breath of fresh air and a friendly ‘hello’ to the neighbour. A new LIVES charity calendar will feature the life of villagers around Lincolnshire.

The theme of ‘Lincolnshire Village Life’ will capture the work that LIVES first responders do in rural communities.

Ringrose Law has teamed up with the charity to hold a photography competition for the 2020 calendar.

Amateur and professional photographers are being invited to send in their entries on the Ringrose website.

Entries opened on May 1 and will close on August 16.

Shortlisted entries will be on display at the International Bomber Command Centre for judging.

Winners will have their image featured in the calendar and will receive a winning voucher.

All money raised by the calendar will go to supporting over 700 highly trained and dedicated volunteers at LIVES.

They get to their neighbours fast to deliver vital care in those first critical moments of a medical emergency before handing over to the ambulance service.

Charlotte McClelland from the Fundraising team at LIVES said: “As a local charity it’s always fantastic to collaborate and get support from local businesses like Ringrose Law.

“After the great success of the calendar and photo competition last year we can’t wait to see the talented photographers Lincolnshire has to offer for 2020!”

Alex Bennett, Marketing Manager at Ringrose Law also said: “Once again we are thrilled to be working with LIVES for our 2020 calendar. We have always had a fantastic response to this competition and the quality of images has always been
outstanding.

“We want to capture the most stunning images of Lincolnshire Village Life for our 2020 LIVES loves Lincs Calendar and we need your help!”
