Nigel Farage visits Lincoln

A brief visit on the High Street

Nigel Farage made a brief visit to Lincoln High Street on Friday to meet supporters ahead of a rally at the Lincolnshire Showground in the evening.

Nigel didn’t have time to speak to local press. Neither did Brexit Party’s East Midlands European Election candidates Annunziata Rees-Mogg (sister of MP Jacob Rees-Mogg), Jonathan Bullock, Tracy Knowles and Anna Bailey, who were all in Farage’s posse.

He had a small number of supporters around him. Elizabeth Aron said: “We have been badly let down by the government. I have not slept and we felt there was nobody to represent us until Nigel came along. It was like a renaissance.”

Elizabeth said she was ‘losing sleep’ over Brexit until Nigel came along.

Other parties including Change UK, Labour, Conservatives, Liberal Democrats, UKIP, The Green Party and independent candidates will also stand for election on polling day on May 23 in the East Midlands. You can find a full list of them here.
