Former Britain’s Got Talent finalist heading to Lincoln

Friday Night Dinner actor is also coming to the city

Two comedians will head to Lincoln later this year including a former Britain’s Got Talent finalist.

Daliso Chaponda was among the finalists of the ITV talent show in 2017 and has over two million views on Facebook and YouTube.

The comedian from Malawai is bringing his 36-date Blah Blah Blacklist Tour 2019 to Lincoln Drill Hall on Friday, November 15.

He talks about the angry reception to some of last year’s show and mocks ‘racists’ who decided to hate him because of one difference of opinion. People wanted to cancel him after saying on live TV that he didn’t think Lord Alan Sugar was racist.

Daliso is also the writer and star in his critically acclaimed BBC Radio 4 show ‘Citizen of Nowhere’, which has been commissioned for a second series. He also featured on The Apprentice: You’re Fired, News Quiz and The Now Show. He is currently creating and curating an exhibit for Liverpool World Museums on Colonial artefacts.

Daliso has also performed around the world and at comedy festivals in Edinburgh, Melbourne, Singapore and Cape Town.
