Funding boost keeps Pastors on the streets

The team go out on the streets to help revellers and the homeless

A church group which helps drunken revellers on nights out in Lincoln has been given a £1,000 grant.

Lincoln Street Pastors were given the funding boost, some new supplies and a ‘service above self’ award by the Bailgate Rotary Club.

The group came together over ten years ago and offer a helping hand to anyone in need or trouble.

In their backpacks they carry coffee, soup and water for party-goers and the homeless.

They cover the High Street on weekends from 10.30pm until 3.45am.
