Co-founder of Seven Clean Seas Richard Reed said: “The global plastic pollution crisis is getting worse and worse. As a keen traveller, I have visited hundreds of beaches all over the world and the plastic pollution problem is everywhere.

“Our primary aim is to raise awareness of the impact of plastic pollution on our oceans and marine life. If everyone can be more responsible and use less plastic then the world will be a better place, particularly in the future.”

Anyone who would like to join should either turn up on the day or sign up through Seven Clean Seas’ Facebook page here.
