It’s Lincolnshire Show time! Thousands of people flocked to the first day of the biggest event on the county farming, business and lifestyle calendar.
The rain held off for the most part, despite advice to bring umbrellas and wellies, and many enjoyed summer delights ignoring lingering clouds.
From animal menageries to mouthwatering food courts and demonstrations of the latest agriculture machinery, there was plenty to enjoy at the Lincolnshire Showground.
Hundreds of local businesses were making the most of the crowds and shopping, including artists, producers and farmers.
There were plenty of other Lincolnshire charities and organisations in the mix too.
Many offered fun activities and demonstrations for all the family.
In the main ring was a packed programme of performers from livestock parades to daredevil bikers.
Sadly, the RAF Falcons were unable to perform their headline stunts due to low lying cloud and drizzle. Show organisers said they believe the Falcons should be able to perform tomorrow.
