A 24-year-old man from Lincoln has been charged after alleged violence in which an off-duty lollipop man had part of his ear bitten off.
Jak Smith, of Ermine Close, Lincoln, was charged with common assault and inflicting GBH without intent.
The attack happened at the Monks Road Vineyard store on Eastbourne Street at 7am on June 1.
As previously reported, the off-duty lollipop man was recovering in hospital after also breaking his leg and ankle in the assault.
One other person was also injured.
A police spokesperson previously said: “Incident 98 of June 1 refers to a report of a fight involving three people at a shop on Monks Road.”
Smith will appear at Lincoln Magistrates Court on Monday, June 10.
