Photo released of Ingoldmells murder victim

She was found at a caravan park in Ingoldmells

A photo has been released of murder victim Linda Treeby, 64, who died at Summerlands Caravan Park last month.

As previously reported, emergency services were called to Summerlands Caravan Park in Ingoldmells at around 10pm on Wednesday, May 29.

A woman was found with serious injures and was treated at the scene by the ambulance crew, but died a short time later.

The woman was later named as Linda Treeby from Nottingham. Lincolnshire Police have now published a photograph of her which was supplied by the family.

A 50-year-old Nottingham man accused of the murder of his partner was remanded in custody when he appeared before Lincoln Crown Court on May 31.

Andrew Philip Highton, of Highbury Road, Nottingham, is accused of murdering Linda Treeby following an incident at the Lincolnshire caravan park.

Judge John Pini QC adjourned the case for a plea and trial preparation hearing to be held on July 1 and set a provisional trial date of November 18. Highton made no application for bail and was remanded in custody.
