Police appeal after ‘domestic assault’ in Lincoln

Police are appealing for witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses after people reported seeing a domestic assault in a car in the city.

Lincolnshire Police were called to Silver Street in Lincoln at around 3.45pm on Thursday, May 30 after reports of a domestic assault between the occupants of a vehicle.

The woman then got out of the car at the junction of Silver Street and the High Street where she appeared visibly distressed, police said.

Anyone in the area at the time, or who was driving through and may have dashcam footage, should contact police on 101 quoting incident number 266 of May 30.
