Police dog helps apprehend assault suspect

A man in his 30s was arrested

A police dog came to the rescue to help apprehend a suspect wanted for multiple assaults in the East Lindsey area.

Lincolnshire Police were called to an address in Burgh-le-Marsh at 9.46am on Sunday, June 2 after a report of a man with a hammer.

Officers and a police dog attended the scene as a man in his 30s was arrested.

The Lincolnshire Police Dog Section posted on social media saying that PD Boris found the suspect hiding and advising to not “try and wrestle a police dog”.
