Post Office burglary suspects crashed with lorry

They fled from the crash

Two suspects of an alleged Post Office burglary in a Lincolnshire village were involved in a crash between a car and a lorry.

The two people entered the Post Office in Main Road in East Keal at around 11pm on Friday, June 21. They made off with the till and also a quantity of cigarettes, which were recovered close to the scene.

They then left the scene in a blue VW Sharan which was involved in a crash with a lorry on the nearby Spilsby Road. The suspects fled from the collision.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for dashcam and CCTV footage to contact them on 101 quoting incident number 562 of June 21.

They are also appealing for witnesses that were on the A16 between East Keal and Ulceby Cross petrol station between 10.30pm and 11.15pm on June 21.
