Hundreds turn out for emotional biker funeral rally

“We will never forget this day and what you lot did for our lad”

Engines roared and tears were shed as hundreds turned out for a rally through the city in memory of a much-loved motorbike rider.

Richard Arbon was just 23-years-old when he sadly lost his life in a crash near Saxilby on Thursday, June 6.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and was taken by ambulance to Gainsborough Hospital. Many have paid tribute to his life.

People raised £1,500 on the JustGiving website to help Richard’s family with the upcoming funeral costs.

Dave Arbon, Richard’s dad, said: “This was an amazing gathering from biker colleagues and friends of my lad.

“We will never forget this day and what you lot did for our lad and for us. Thank you.”
