Woman dies after A46 Lincoln crash

Two other people were injured

A 79-year-old woman has died after a serious crash on the A46 Lincoln bypass on Tuesday afternoon.

An air ambulance attended the collision between a lorry and a Seat car on the A46 between Doddington and Skellingthorpe roundabouts, which was reported to police at 3.27pm on Tuesday, July 23. It caused the road to be closed in both directions.

The male driver of the Seat was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Another woman in her 70s was airlifted to Queens Medical Centre with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Both women were passengers in the Seat.
