A man was found with an unexplained head injury near to a bench in Grimsby on Thursday morning.
Humberside Police were called to St James Square in Grimsby shortly before 9.30am on Thursday, August 15 with reports that a man had been found with a head injury near to a bench in the square.
The man was taken to hospital where he currently remains in a stable condition.
Enquiries are underway to establish the circumstances of how the man came to be injured. Police are asking anyone that may have information to get in touch.

Police believe there was a woman who walked across the square between 9am and 9.30am wearing a beige coat who may have seen something that could help with enquiries.
