Man tasered by police after Boston ‘machete’ incident

The man was then arrested

A man allegedly brandishing a machete was tasered and arrested in Boston town centre on Wednesday.

Lincolnshire Police were called to a car park on Wide Bargate in Boston after a report of a man with a machete at 9.38am on Wednesday, August 7.

It is understood that John Adams Way was closed for a time due to this incident.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “Officers pursued the man before deploying a taser. The man has been arrested.”
